Notes for: Herbert Fremont Bodine

The LDS site listed Herbert as the son of Oscar Franklin Bodine and Cornelia Jane Bingham. It also listed Oscar Franklin as the son of William Bodine and Mary Egle.

Herbert and Dora Bodine divorced as Dora L. Bodine was living in April 1910 with her widowed mother Sophronia Sissins in Vienna Township, Genesee County and reported that she was divorced, having borne one child who was then living. Before 1918 she married Martin Joseph Doyle from she was also divorced before April 1930. In 1910-1920, Herbert Bodine lived with his family in Flint, Genesee County, Michigan and in 1930 in South Pasadena, Los Angeles County where he worked both times as a druggist in a pharmacy. Dora was the daughter of James R. and Sophronia E. (Johnson) Sissins.

Bodine-Mrs. Mary C. Bodine of 1629 Monterey Rd., South Pasadena passed away Feb. 11, 1960. A native of Arbela, Michigan, she had been a resident of this area 40 years. Mrs. Bodine was a 50 year member of the Vienna Chapter 283 O.E.S. of Clio, Michigan. Survived by her son, Oscar R. Bodine, South Pasadena; one granddaughter, Marianne Bodine and her grandson, Roger Bodine, U.S.N. Private services for the family only will be held Wednesday at Turner Stevens & Eggleston, South Pasadena. Interment, San Gabriel Cemetery.
