John Keats, born 15 Oct 1861 in England, son of James Keats & Anne Williams, died 4 March 1925 in D.C. and was buried in Wilkes Barre, PA. Wife Adele J. Keats.
Adile [sic] Jane Keats, died 3 Feb 1928 in D.C. aged 63. Daughter of Henry Bodine & Lucinda Swisher. Wife of John Keats.

Word has been received of the death yesterday morning in Washington, D.C., of John Keats, a former resident of Parsons. Death was due to heart disease. For the last several years Mr. Keats has been attached to the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. Sixty-four years ago Mr. Keats was born in Somersetshire, England, and came to Parsons at the age of nineteen years. During his residence in Parsons, he figured prominently in church, fraternal and political circles. He is survived by his widow, Adele J. Bodin Keats, one daughter, Mrs. Francis H. Peters, and one son, Harold; all residents of Washington, D.C.; also two sisters, Mrs. Richard Moore, of Ferndale, Mich., and Mrs. Joseph Little of Eugene, Oregon, and a number of nephews and nieces in Wilkes Barre. Burial will be in Hollenback cemetery on Friday.

Mrs. John Keats, who was before marriage Adele Bodine, of Parsons, died at her home in Washington, D.C. yesterday. Mrs. Keats was the widow of John Keats, of Washington, D.C. Funeral services at Doran's funeral parlors, Wilkesbarre, Sunday, 4 p.m.
Burials in Hollenback Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
