Info at FamilySearch may have listed Isaac's name as Jesse.
There is an Isaac Bodine living next to or very near William Abbott Bodine in the 1860 Census of Oakland County, Michigan. That Isaac was 39 and born in New Jersey. I am guessing that it was this Isaac. RB also had this Isaac as William Abbott Bodine's son. In the Census, his family was wife Mary (34, NJ), William G. (10, MI), Theodore (7, MI), Anabell (2, MI) and Mary E. (3/12, MI).
This looks to be the Isaac Bodine found in the 1880 Census of Hahnaman, Whiteside Co., IL. Isaac is a farmer, age 56, and born in NJ. Both his parents were born in NJ. His wife, Mary, is 54 and born in NJ, as well as her parents. Three children are listed: Mary (20, MI, NJ, NJ), Robert 15 (IL, NJ, NJ), and son Jessie (13, IL, NJ, NJ).
