Notes for: David Williamson

David and Mary were first identified as a married couple when they witnessed the baptism of Nicolaes, son of Claes Arentszen Tours and Jacomyntje Pieterse Van Neste (Pieter Pieterszen) at the Bergen Church on June 21, 1703.

Based on the names of David and Mary's son, William, David may have first been married to a woman name Catalyntje. That is only a guess, however. So the mother of William may have been this Catalyntje. If not, it was Mary Van Nest. William was named after his paternal grandfather. David and Mary had at least one other child (there may have been more), Judith. She was named after her maternal grandmother.

David's name is last found mentioned in May of 1710 when he was listed as a member of the Grand Jury for Somerset County, NJ (MxCt:233 and SCQG)
