I think Sam's address is sjwesbo at bootheel.net. He contacted Thomas Bodine in Alabama about genealogy. I'm just guessing that it must be this Sam, though. He lives in the Sikeston, Missouri area. Sam is a retired school teacher.

Ms. Mary Bodine of New Madrid, Mo. is named as a surviving daughter of Boyd Williams (and Mabel Hart Williams) in his newspaper obituary of 17 March 1991 in The Commercial Appeal (Memphis, Tenn.). As Mary V. Williams, 14 TN, she was living in 1940 with her parents Boyd and Mable Williams in Lake County, Tenn.

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Jean Westerfield-Bodine, age 88, passed away peacefully on Dec. 12, 2018, at the Arkansas Hospice Inpatient Facility in Hot Springs. She was born March 9, 1930, in Henderson, Tenn., to the late Landreth Lee and Ida Mae Renfroe Crawford both of TN. On May 26, 1951 in Piggott, AR., she married Billy Moore Westerfield who preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1986. In October 1996 in Sikeston, Mo., she married Samuel Joseph Bodine, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include: two sons and two daughters-in-laws, Kelly and Cindy Westerfield of Chesterfield, Mo., and Steve and Becky Westerfield of Hot Springs one stepdaughter, Ginger Jones of New Madrid, Mo.; three grandchildren, Connor Moore, Madison and McKenna Westerfield of Chesterfield, Mo..; one brother, Roy Crawford of Newport Beach, VA.; and one sister, Lorraine Kimes of Mountain View, Calif. She also leaves several cherished nephews, nieces and friends too many to name. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ann Jewell; and three brothers, Tom L. Crawford, Jerry Don Crawford and James Crawford all of Portageville. Jean was a longtime active member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston. Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with Don Estes officiating. SIKESTON -- Samuel Joseph Bodine, 84, formerly of Marston and New Madrid, died Dec. 29, 2008, at his home. Born Aug. 3, 1924, in Marston, to the late Clarence E. and Mary Ester Latimer Bodine, he was a Marston High School graduate. He served in Europe during World War II and later graduated from Southeast Missouri State. He taught school and coached in Marston, was principal of Bethany High School in Bethany and was county superintendent of schools for New Madrid County, superintendent of New Madrid Schools and vocation director of the New Madrid County Vocational School. After his retirement from the school system, he became the city collector for the City of New Madrid. In August 1961, he married Mary Jones, who died on May 9, 1994, On Oct. 9, 1995, he married Jean Crawford Westerfield, who survives of the home. Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Marcia Jones of Allen, Texas; one daughter, Ginger Jones of New Madrid; two stepsons and their wives, Steve and Becky Westerfield of Hot Springs, Ark. and Kelly and Cindy Westerfield of London, England; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Angela Lindsey of Abilene, Texas; Melissa Jones and Mary Beth and Kyle Hamilton of Allen; Matthew and Courtney Jones of Edwards, Colo., Callie, Patrick and Aubrey Westerfield of Hot Springs and Connor, Madison and MacKenna Westerfield of London; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jones of Allen and Banning Lindsey of Abilene; one sister, Salome Haubold of Memphis, Tenn.; one niece, Sandy Thomason of Marson; one nephew, Tom Bodine of St. Louis; two great-nephews, Ken Thomason and Jeff Thomason of Marston; two great-nieces, Sara Bodine and Casey Bodine of St. Louis; and one great-great-nephew, Sean Thomason of Marston. Preceding him in death were: two brothers, Robert Bodine and Kenneth Bodine; and one grandson, Christopher Paul Jones. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday. The Revs. Leland Butler and Gene Speight will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jeffrey Thomason, Kenny Don Thomason, Tom Bodine, Bill Glaus, Red Thomason, Jimmy Cravens and Carrol Compton. Honorary pallbearers will be: Al McRaven, Louis Griffy, Joe Silverthorne, Dwight Crader, Ms. Jackie Hayes and Mrs. Inez Baldwin.
