Notes for: Lena Bodine

They lived in Elsinore, Missouri; Luxora, Arkansas; Matthews, Missouri; and finally Marston, Missouri. Lena and Elmer didn't have any children. Chance and Raymond Bodine lived with them much of the time. Lena was an excellent cook and loved to practice her skills. They are buried in Mounds Park Cemetery. She and her husband owned a share of the cemetery when it was developed.

Elmer and Lena Latimer were living 1930 in Marston, New Madrid County, where Elmer was employed as a railroad station agent. Elmer worked for the Frisco Railroad Company as a station agent. He died during a brawl in Cape Girardeau. Elmer and Lena Latimer, who had no children, were buried in Mounds Park Cemetery, Lilbourn, New Madrid County.
