Notes for: Benjamin Bodine

I figured that Benjamin Bodine, BK#17719, must have been another Benjamin Bodine, BK#16924, I had in my data. His (#17719's) son Francis had the middle name "Millard." This is the same name as that of Hannah Millard/Miller, the wife of Francis Bodine, a brother of Benjamin (#16924). Later I was sent information from New England Famililes Genealogical and Historical saying that indeed Benjamin Bodine was a grandson of William Bodine, the pioneer of Montgomery, Orange County New York and that he had married Susannah Kimbark.

LDS info lists a William Bodine, son of Benjamin Bodine and Susannah Kimbergh. William was born on January 7, 1807 in Montgomery, Orange County, New York. (He may have been baptized on January 9 at the Montgomery DRC.)

Later, I received more info from Ralph Weller at WellGen@aol.com giving quite a bit of info on this Benjamin, his children and his grandchildren. His info confirmed quite a few guesses I have made about marriages for Benjamin's children.

Ralph Weller wrote that Charles Bodine says both are buried in Middletown. He did not find a stone in Hilllside Cemetery (?). See the Millspaugh book, p. 308. It says his will is in Orange County Book P, p. 343, dated February 13, 1847. See also Port. & Biog. Rec., Orange Co., p.714 [children somewhat different ?].

This Benjamin Bodine is probably related somehow to Moses Bodine, husband of Hannah Newkirk, and to Sarah Bodine, wife of William Stitt. I'm not sure how, though.

The following data from the 1800 Census of Montgomery, Orange Co., NY could very well apply to this Benjamin Bodine. Here is that info:
