From Milwaukee County, Wisconsin Marriage Records:
Daniel F. Bodine AND Roma Leokadija Rudelis were married 13 Aug 1987.
Abstracted from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel of 26 March 1992:
On March 3, a Shorewood building inspector found the body of Daniel Bodine, 53, with one head wound made by a bullet from his .45-caliber semiautomatic pistol. The Milwaukee County medical examiner's office has ruled that the wound was self-inflicted, and no foul play is suspected in Bodine's death. Bodine retired from the FBI on Oct. 3, 1988, the day he turned 50. He had worked for the bureau for about 2 1/2 years in Milwaukee. Earlier, he was assigned to the FBI's Chicago office. His wife, Roma, with whom he had had a fight was missing.
Abstracted from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel of 14 Aug 1997:
Roma Bodine disappeared without a trace in February 1992 and her body has never been found. Her son, Thomas Weinstock, stated "It is my suspicion that Roma Bodine was killed by Daniel Bodine as a result of tensions in their marriage..." Daniel Bodine, a retired FBI agent, committed suicide on 2 March 1992, the day that would have been Roma's 50th birthday. He left 5 surviving children by his previous marriage. This week Roma Bodine was declared dead permitting her estate to be settled.
