Notes for: William Samuel Bodine

William was a very colorful man and well-liked in his community. He was a very good breeder of mules.

William and Sophie Bodine were buried in Bodine Cemetery, Brown's Valley, Marshall County. The Bodine family was living 1930 at Crossroads, Marshall County where William was engaged in farming. Sophie was the daughter of John and Mary (Morrison) Fultz.

GUNTERSVILLE -- Mrs. Sophie Mae Fultz Bodine, 87, of Guntersville, died Saturday at her residence. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at the Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville. Burial was in the Bodine Cemetary. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Bodine of Owens Cross Roads, Frank Bodine of Alder Springs and David Bodine of Georgia; a daughter, Louise Sewell of Atlanta; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
