Notes for: Margaret (Margreth) Bodine

LDS listed her birth place as Chatham, Columbia, New York. They had at least one daughter, Elizabeth Housman who was born January 7, 1827 and baptized on August 8, 1827 at the Moravian Church on Staten Island. Her mother and father are listed as witnesses as her baptism, as well as Edward Beatty. She was baptized by Rev. Nathaniel Brown.

Margaret Bodine was bapt. 3 Aug 1806 at the Moravian Church, Richmond County where Abraham Housman and Margaret Bodine were also married. She was buried in the Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery at Port Richmond. Abraham Housman was living 1850 in Northfield, Richmond County.

Children: Elizabeth (7 Jan 1827), Mary Matilda (18 July 1831), Martin Van Buren (14 July 1838), William Albert (5 Nov 1840).
