Notes for: Helen Elizabeth Bodine

From Ronny Bodine:

From The Farmer (N.Y.) Review of Saturday, 20 Feb 1897.
A company of about seventy-five friends and relatives gathered at the residence of the Hon. Peter V. N. Bodine in Lodi on Wednesday evening, February 17, 1897, to witness the marriage of his only daughter, Helen Elizabeth, to Mr. Alfred D. Traphagen. They were united in marriage by the Rev. C. F. Porter pastor of the Reformed church.

In June 1900 and April 1910, Alfred Traphagen lived with his family in Lodi, Seneca County, New York working as a salesman in a general store. In 1900, he reported that in 3 years of marriage his wife had borne one child who was then living with them. In 1910 he reported that in 13 years his wife had borne 2 children, both then living. In Jan 1920, Helen Traphagen was now widowed, yet living in Lodi.
