Notes for: Sally Bodine
She is listed in E. P. Bodine as Sally Bodine Halleck. There were no children. The name is "Hallock" in her father's will. Lewis Hallock is one of the witnesses on his will. Lewis was from Tyrone, NY.
Sally is not listed in her brother Ralph's will of Feb. 4, 1870, but an Abel K. Hollick is one of Ralph's executors. Maybe this is Sally's widower if she was already dead by then.
There are several Hallock/Hallack burials in the Wayne Baptist Cemetery, but I do not find a Sally there. Abel K. Hallack, son of Jonathan and Lucinda Hallack, is there, though. He died on either 4-11-1874 at age 56 or in 1894 at age 50. There is also a Lewis Hallack (1814-1893) and wife Frances (1817-1895) buried there.
In the Wayne Baptist Cemetery is this:
DOTY Charles Bodine 8-11-1834 - 6-19-1898
Lydia wf 12-9-1835 - 1-4-1904
DOUGHTY William H 1-26-1901 ae 90
Lois wf 4-3-1884 ae 69
DOUGHTY Sarah wf/Wm H & late wife /David Hallock 3-1-1868 ae 82
I wonder if this Sarah is possibly the one mentioned as the late wife of David Hallock. The age would be incorrect, but there seem to be many misreadings from this cemetery.
From Ronny Bodine:
1850 Romulus, Seneca County: Halsey P. Hallick 25 NY farmer, Sally Ann 26 NY.
On 1 May 1856, Halsey Hallock married Elizabeth Ege. Halsey lived the rest of his life in Romulus. He and his 2nd wife had no children.
