Notes for: Amy A. Mott

Her name is Emma in the 1850 Census. However, her name is supposedly Amy H. Bodine in the Jesse Evans Bodine family Bible, but that is probably a misreading based on RB's info below. That Bible may have passed on to her when her sister Maria Librand (Mott) Bodine, wife of Jesse, died in 1914.

From Ronny Bodine:

In 1880 and 1900, she was very plainly Amy A. Bodine. 1910 is very difficult to read, but it appears she is again Amy A. Bodine. And her obituary in the Trenton “Times” of 16 Sept 1918 names her as Amy A. Bodine

The death of Amy Bodine was reported in the Trenton "Times" of 16 Sept 1918 with a lengthy obituary. She was survived only by her daughter, 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
