Notes for: Stephen W. Bodine

Stephen Bodine was a life-long resident of Burlington County. He was working as a butcher in 1850, a stock buyer in 1860, and a produce merchant in 1870 and 1880. He served as Assessor of Northampton Township from 1857 to 1859. Beulah Bodine, now widowed, was living 1900 with her daughter Mary Colkitt. See her obituary in the "New Jersey Mirror" of 14 Jan 1903.
