Notes for: Elizabeth (or Margaret / Lois) Swarthout

I found the name Lois instead of Margaret for one record at FamilySearch.com. Later I was told that her name was Elizabeth. Maybe John had two wives, the first names Margaret or Lois and the second named Elizabeth Swarthout. All this should be taken with a grain of salt until some better proof is found.

There is death recorded, I believe, in the 1875 Census of Tyrone, Schuyler Co., NY that says this:

Elizabeth Bodine, 83, single, Feb. 17, native of New York. I would think that she would be this Elizabeth.
