VERNON - Benny Alonzo Bodine, 74, of Vernon died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, in Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lujerio Garza officiating. Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home of Vernon. Ms. Bodine worked at Wright Brand Foods, Oklaunion Power Plant, Construction Worker and also for Celanese. Survivors include four sons, Joe Alonzo, Roy Lott, Odis Bodine and Oren Bodine, all of Vernon; four daughters, Sylvia King, Cynthia Dabrakow, Justina Snow, Sherry Rodriguez, all of Vernon; two brothers, Thomas Gonzales of Dallas, Pete Alonzo of Vernon; two sisters, Mary Short of Wichita Falls, Josephine Martinez of Vernon; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
