Notes for: Euphemia (Euphany) Caroline Bodine

In the Illinois Statewide Marriage Index, 1763-1900, there is an Euphrenia Bodine who married a James M. Strain on August 28, 1884 in Jefferson Co., IN. However, that appears to be a different Euphemia.

This Euphemia was supposedly living at home in 1860.

The McCann family was living 1880 in Jefferson County and 1900 in Union County. Euphemia stated in 1900 she had borne 10 children of who 9 were then living. Dallas McCann, aged 85 and widowed, was living 1930 in Union County.

Children: Adeline (c1863), Alice (c1865), Nancy (c1867), James (c1869), Sarah (c1872), Ola (c1875), Thomas (c1877), John (1879), William D. (July 1882).
