1940 (6 April) Oakland, Alameda Co.: Samuel W. SIMERL 62 MO widowed carpenter.
In 1942, Samuel William Simerl, of Oakland, Calif., registered for the World War II draft. He reported he was born 24 July 1878 in Missouri and that William R. Simerl, his son, wa shis next of kin.
