I got a note from Mattie (HSister at aol.com) saying she thought that Oliver might be the father of a James Jackson Bodine, born 1932, she's been looking into.

Oliver Bodine, age 23, was living April 1930 with his parents in Willbarger County, Texas and working as an oil well pumper.

Thelma Bodine, 95 of Woodville, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Dogwood Trails Manor Nursing Home in Woodville, Texas. Graveside services will be held Friday, December 7th at 1:00pm at the Allison Cemetery near Warren. Officiating is Brother Kenneth Cauthen. Thelma was born January 4, 1912 to Sam J. & Maude Jones Cameron in Emory, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Tyler County and was a member of First Baptist Church of Warren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Efton Bodine; son, Jack Bodine and her grandson, Mark Bodine. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, June R. Bodine of Port Neches; sister, Grace Fillman of Dallas; grandchildren, Scott Bodine and Patrick Bodine and numerous great grandchildren.
