Notes for: Frederick ("Fred") James Bodine
I am guessing that this is the Fred J. Bodine who married Lillian Ramsey on Oct. 22, 1890 in Hunterdon Co., NJ.
From Ronny Bodine:
In 1900, Fred J. Bodine lived in Flemington, Raritan Township, Hunterdon County. He reported he worked as a hardware merchant and that in 9 years of marriage his wife Lillian had borne one child, then living with them. In 1910, he reported Lillian had borne 3 children, but only 2 were then living.
From Plainfield (NJ) Courier-News of 22 Oct 1938.
Reporting on the 48th anniversary celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Bodine who were married 22 Oct 1890 at the bride's home in Flemington by Dr. George S. Mott, pastor of the Presbyterian Church and Dr. Charles S. Ryman, pastor of the Methodist Church.
