Notes for: David ("Dave") Bodine
I believe David is found in the household of his maternal grandfather, Gottlieb Bodmer, on the 1880 Census of Orange, Essex Co., NJ. David is two years old. Marie Wright sent me this info.
I did have his name as David Lewis Bodine, but I think that Lewis might have come from the name of the county where he filed in his WWI draft card. I will take off the Lewis for now.

David Bodine of Vollmer AND Elizabeth V. Shearer of Lewiston were married 10 Sept 1913 at Lewiston by D. J. W. Somerville, Rector of the Church of the Nativity.
On 12 Sept 1918, David Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Nez Perce, Lewis County, Idaho and reported he was born 18 Aug 1878. In 1920, Dave Bodine lived with his family in Vollmer, Lewis County, Idaho where he owned and operated a general store. In 1930, David Bodine lived with his family in Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California where he was employed as a office supplies salesman.

David Bodine was born 8 Aug 1878 in New Jersey, son of Joseph & Helen (Bodinore) Bodine; died 21 Oct 1934 in Lewiston, Nez Perce Co., Idaho. [Note: Birth date of 18 Aug 1878 was provided by himself in 1918.]
Elizabeth Vollmer Shearer Bodine was born 15 Jan 1885 in Idaho, dau. of George & Caroline (Vollmer) Shearer; died 14 Aug 1955 in Lewiston, Nez Perce County.
