Notes for: J. Helen Mae Bodmer
I believe her father was Gottlieb Bodmer. Her son David is found in the 1880 Census of, I think, Orange, Essex Co., NJ, living with Gottlieb. I'm not sure, but I think Helen and husband, David, were also in that household.
Ronny Bodine wrote this: The 1933 City Directory of Pasadena, California lists Helen Bodine, widow of Joseph, living with her son David and his wife. But none of the family is listed in the 1934 directory so it would appear the family had made their move to Idaho. If Helen Bodine had died in California her death would have been recorded there and it is not. But it also is not recorded in Idaho. It appears likely that Helen died on the journey between the two states.
