Roy Bodine, 25, born in Morganville, Kansas, resident of Butte, Silver Bow Co., son of George R. Bodine & Anna R. Howland AND Blanche Grahm [sic], age 24, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, resident of Butte, divorced, daughter of Samuel J. Miller & Maria Lewis, were married 1 Nov 1917 at Butte by Lawrence A. Wilson, Clergyman. [Note: Blanche's 1st husband was Delbert Graham (1882-1947).]
Blanche E. Miller, born April 1893 in Nebraska, lived in June 1900 with her widowed father and siblings in Little Salt, Lancaster County, Nebraska.
In 1920, Roy A. and Blanche A. Bodine lived in Seattle, King County, Washington. The Seattle Daily Times of 17 Aug 1920 reported that a divorce decree was granted to "Blanche A. Bodine from Ray A. Bodine." About 1925 she married as her 3rd husband, Philip Sheridan Smith (1888-1953) with whom she was living in 1930 in San Francisco. She was buried in Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma, San Mateo County, California.

Bodine & Anna Howland AND Lillian Dorothy Allen, age 24 years, 0 mos., 28 days, born in Montreal, Canada and a resident of Great Falls, divorced, daughter of Eugene La Rue & Lillian Madison, were married 9 Jan 1921 at Great Falls by Alexander G. Bennett, Methodist Preacher.
In 1930, Roy and Dorothy Bodine lived in Great Falls, Cascade County, Montana where Roy was employed as a barber.

Roy A. Bodine, 60, Hamilton barber and World war 1 veteran, died this morning at the Fort Harrison veterans' administration hospital, where he had been a patient since Aug. 7. Mr. Bodine was born Sept. 14, 1892, at Morgansville, Kan., and enlisted in the army at Butte on July 22, 1918. He was discharged as a private in the 47th company, 163rd DB, on July 9, 1919, at Camp Lee, Va. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, at Hamilton. The body is at Herrmann and Company funeral home.
His date of birth given in his obituary conflicts with that of his brother George and based upon his age in the censuses, the likely correct year of birth is 1894 which is confirmed by his grave marker.
