The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene for Floyd Goetze of Eugene, who died Oct. 14 at age 77. The family chose not to list the cause of death. Recitation of the rosary will be at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eugene. He was born Nov. 19, 1929, in Portland to Gerhard and Eva Bonar Goetze. He married Monica Goetze on June 10, 1957, in Velva, N.D. Goetze held a bachelor's degree from the University of Portland. He worked in various positions at First National Bank, First Interstate Bank and Wells Fargo Bank, retiring as a loan officer in 1991. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mary Carson of Eugene and Teresa Kim of Sacramento; two sons, Robert and Paul, both of Eugene; two brothers, Jack of Portland and Earl of Sunnyvale, Calif.; two sisters, June Quincy of Red Bluff, Calif., and Janet Goetze of Portland; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Andreason's Cremation&Burial Service in Springfield.

My mother is Mary Elizabeth (Goetze) Carson, born in 1958, daughter of Monica Mae Goetze and Floyd Elwood Goetze. Monica Goetze is the daughter of Elizabeth Grossman and Frank Bodine.
