Notes for: Catherine ("Kitty") Bodine
I earlier had information saying she was born in 1797. It might be more like 1796. The name "Retty" comes from a transcription of her marriage record. That must actually by "Kitty."

George Basan and Kitty Bodine were married 19 Nov 1819, by Benjamin Sayre, J.P.
From Ohio Federal Census Records:
From German Twp., Montgomery Co.: George BASAN 53 VA Laborer, Sarah 23 OH, David 4 OH, Joseph 1 OH.
The foregoing census would indicate Catharine "Kitty" had died by 1850 if this George Basan is the same whom Kitty married in 1819.
