LDS info says many of their children were born in Butler, Ohio. This contrasts with other info that says they were born in Indiana.

Information on pages 386 to 387 of "History of Fountain County, Wabash Township (Indiana)" says that William and Rebecca (Marlatt) Bodine went to Warren County, Ohio about 1817 and then removed to Fountain County, Indiana in October of 1829 and settled in Wabash Township. The info goes on to say that they had seven childen: four born in Ohio and three in Fountain County.

Someone has listed his name as James William Bodine. I asked where the name "James" came from and have not received a source.

From Ronny Bodine:

From Virginia Marriage Records: Marriage License issued 19 Nov 1816 for William Bodine to marry Rebecca Morlatt in Berkeley County. Bond by William Bodine and George Morlatt. [Note: Berkeley County is now in West Virginia.]

Rebecca (Marlatt) Bodine was the daughter of Abraham and Margaret Ann (Linder) Marlatt.
