Notes for: Mary Elizabeth Bodine
She was twenty years old in the 1850 Census.
Information from the Kings seems to give conflicting information on Mary. They list Charles and Rebecca as having two daughters named Mary Bodine. The first one supposedly married a John Evans and secondly a John E. Roberts. And they have the other daughter, Mary Ann Bodine, married to a Gideon Farrow. There has to be some mistakes in this, but I can't separate fact from fiction for now.
From Ronny Bodine:
The marriage of John Evans and Mary Elizabeth Bodine was reported in the "New Jersey Mirror" of 24 Feb 1853. It appears they were mere children, aged 10 years apart. The couple was living 1870 in Northampton Township when John was aged 31 and Mary was 39 and in 1880 when John was 40 and Mary was 50. John and Mary Evans were buried in Pemberton Methodist Cemetery. See her obituary in the "New Jersey Mirror" of 15 Feb 1882.
