Notes for: William Bodine

I am quite sure that this William Bodine is the son of Vincent Bodine and Elizabeth Brotherton. I will be looking for more evidence, but I am sure enough to link this previosly orphaned line to Vincent and Elizabeth Bodine pending any solid evidence against this assumption.

William Bodine may be the child born 1811-1815 on the 1830 New Jersey census in his father's household. This census info came from RB, but he was applying it to the orphaned line of William Bodine.

Some of this info is based on the 1900 Census listing for Cyrus Bodine (Long Branch, NJ).

All three of their children were living with Mary Striker, Elizabeth's mother at the time of the 1870 Census of Monmouth County, New Jersey. I wonder if they were orphans.

There is a William, born in December of 1825, who shows up in the 1900 Soundex of Monmouth County, Red Bank. He was married to a Catherine. She was born in March of 1833. I think this is actually a black family, though.
