Miss Margaret Bodine and Thomas C. Applegate were married at the Catholic Church, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. M. C. O'Donnell. Witnesses to the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bodine of Jersey City. Until last October the bride was also a resident of Jersey City. Mr. and Mrs. Applegate will make their home in Keyport.

Mrs. Margaret Applegate, aged 48 years, wife of Thomas Applegate, of Second street, died at the Monmouth Memorial Hospital, Long Branch, Saturday afternoon. Death was due to lobar pneumonia. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Bedle parlors. Interment was in Christ church cemetery, South Amboy.

Thomas Applegate, a former resident of this place, died last Friday at the Welfare Home at Freehold. He was a member of Jr. O. U, A. M. of Elizabeth and funeral services were held from Bedle's Funeral Parlors on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. W. R. Rossell, officiating. Interment was in Green Grove Cemetery.
