William and Mary Bodine were buried in Clear Springs Cemetery, Guntersville, Marshall County. In 1930, the Bodine family was living at Crossroads, Marshall County where William engaged in farming. Sarah (Whitworth) Bodine, daughter of Claborn Alexander and Frances Virginia (Pollard) Whitworth, was buried in Pollard Cemetery, Guntersville.

Newspaper obituary from the Guntersville "Democrat" of 27 Feb 1908- "Died on the 17th instant. Mrs. Emma Bodine, her remains were laid to rest in the Pollard Cemetery. Mrs. Bodine leaves a husband and 3 little children and other relatives to mourn her loss."
