J. Clark gave her name as Sarah. Mary Boide said that she and her husband have visited James' grave. There is broken stone next to it that says Bodine and it might also say "Sarah," but it is quite difficult to read.
And here is another message I received about her name.

Re: Sarah Elizabeth Miller
My grandmother was Julia Ann Bodine (b. 1885, Holcomb, Mo.), who was a daughter of James Vance Bodine. When I was a boy in the 1950s, my grandmother authoritatively told me that her mother's name was Sarah Elizabeth Miller and that Sarah was born in Howell County, Missouri.
My grandmother never mentioned that James Vance Bodine had an earlier wife, but perhaps so. My grandmother had quite a few siblings. Some were Gillie Frances Bodine, Hattie Bodine, Gertrude Bodine, and William E. Bodine. There may have been others I never met. As far as I know, they all lived in the Holcomb, Mo., area, and they have numerous descendants
in Southeast Missouri and elsewhere.
For some time after I left home in 1959, I remember being told that there was then a schoolteacher Mrs. Miller in Kennett, Mo., who was related to our family and who had accumulated a lot of family history on the Millers. However, I'm not sure I ever met Mrs. Miller.
I hope this information is useful to your great Bodine site.
