Notes for: Allen H. Godbey, Ph.D.

He was a circuit rider in the St. Louis Conference of the Methodist church until 1926. He then went on the faculty of Duke University where he specialized in archeology, Old Testament, and Semitic languages. His job was terminated in 1932 because he could not get along with other faculty. This comes from page 114 of "Methodism in Kentucky."
