Theresa Bodine, 61, of Huntington Beach, Calif., formerly of Clinton, died at 3 a.m. Saturday in California. Funeral services will be held in California. Following cremation the remains will be taken to Herington-Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. She was born in Bogue Chitto, Miss., the daughter of Chester Alvin and Martha Melinda Parnell Boyd. She married Robert Bodine Jan. 31, 1953 in Chicago. Surviving are her husband; brothers, P. J. Boyd, Clarksdale, Miss.; Eugene L. Boyd of San Diego, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Gerald Brown, Clinton, and Mrs. Retta E. Bales, Theodore, Ala.

Private memorial services will be held for Beverly M. Bodine of Ukiah who passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at her home. Born July 13, 1925 in Huron, South Dakota, she has resided in the Ukiah area for the past 15 years. She was a graphic designer, professional volunteer, professional "Mom" and professional "Momo". After raising three children, Bev worked until retirement. She then moved to Ukiah where she became a volunteer at the Ukiah hospital in the maternity ward. Beverly was an ardent bridge player and bird watcher. Bev cherished her family, especially her eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Linn S. Hobson of Petaluma, CA, Melissa A. Figge and husband Greg of Tustin, CA, son David L. Atkinson and wife Barbara of Beaverton, OR, grandchildren Tyler Hansen, Kevin Hobson, Michael Atkinson, Laura Figge, Christine Atkinson, Betsy Oliver, Alex Figge and Amanda Atkinson and two great grandchildren Danica and Erik. Memorial contributions to Therapy Dogs of Sonoma County, c/o The Humane Society of Sonoma County are preferred. The Eversole Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
