By the way, my mom and dad, Glen Cornelius Greening were married July 26, 1941 at St. Stephens Church at Indian Creek, Missouri. He is also buried at St. Paul's Cemetery.

PERRY - Glen Cornelius Greening, 83, of Perry, died at 7:20 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at Hannibal Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2002, at St. William Catholic Church in Perry. Father John Henderson will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the church. The Bienhoff Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Greening was born June 22, 1919, in Stoutsville to Cornelius Earl and Freda Sidonia Anderson Greening.He was married to Helen Bodine on July 26, 1941, in Monroe City. She survives.Other survivors include four sons, Glenroy Greening of Joplin, Steve Greening of Dale, Texas, Greg Greening of Lees Summit and Patrick Greening of Bristo, Conn.; five daughters, Geraldine Greening and Janice Reynolds, both of Sarcoxie, Jeanie Field of Marblehead, Ill., Mary Beth Kirtlink of Center and Leah Kruse of Newton, Iowa; one brother, Virgil Greening of Hannibal; one sister, Loyette Hamilton of Paris; 25 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Dewey Greening.Mr. Greening was a lifetime area resident and member of St. William Catholic Church. He was a retired laborer from A.P. Green Refractories where he had been employed for 35 years.Memorials may be made to the Glen Greening family, in care of Perry State Bank. Pallbearers will be Mark Raleigh, Matt Raleigh, Aaron Simmons, Doug Simmons, Shane Kirtlink and Kendall Kruse.Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Kruse and Gage Greening.

She was a lifetime area resident and homemaker. She was a member of St. William Catholic Church. She loved bingo, crafts and her grandchildren. She had taught religion classes for several years. Memorials may be made to the Helen Greening family, in care of the Perry State Bank. Pallbearers will be Dan Field, Larry Kirtlink, Bill Reynolds, Kurt Kruse, Aaron Simmons and Mark Raleigh. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Mary Kirtlink, daughter of Glen and Helen Greening reported that he rfather was born in Clapper, Monroe County, not in Stoutsville.
