Robert Francis Bodine applied for a SSN in April 1940 and reported he was born 25 Jan 1920 in White Cloud, Kansas, son of Clem & Ethel (Parsons) Bodine. He died 3 March 1994.

Lillian Evelyn Viens applied for a SSN in April 1940 and reported she was born 9 Feb 1922 in Providence, RI, dau. of Noe & Melina (Ledoux) Viens. In Dec 1943 she reported her name as Lillian Viens Bodine. She died 9 April 2004.

GROVELAND -- Robert F. "Rocky" Bodine, 74, of 4116 Edgewater died at 11:35 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 1994, at Pekin Hospital. Born Jan. 25, 1920, in White Cloud, Kan., to Clem and Ethel S. Parsons Bodine, he married Lillian E. Viens on Dec. 7, 1943, in Providence, R.I. She survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jay (Theresa) Zimmerman of Pekin, Cecile Marie Allcock of Bellows Falls, Vt., and Margaret Mary Irving of Shelbina, Mo.; two sons, Michael Edward of Mesa, Ariz., and Stephen Patrick of Morton; four brothers; four sisters; nine grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was an electrician at Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria for 30 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 974 in Peoria. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton. The Rev. Eugene L. Finnell will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by Ludwig-Rohrschneider Mortuary in Morton. Memorials may be made to his church or the Maryknoll Fathers.

PEKIN - Lillian E. Bodine, 82, of 2220 State St. died at 8:30 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2004, at Pekin Living and Rehabilitation Center. Born Feb. 9, 1922, in Providence, R.I., to Noe and Melina LeDoux Viens, she married Robert F. Bodine on Dec. 7, 1943, in Providence. He died March 3, 1994. Surviving are three daughters, Theresa (and Jay) Zimmerman of Pekin, Cecile (and Earl) Allcock of Bellow Falls, Vt., and Margaret Irving of Shelbina, Mo.; two sons, Michael of Mesa, Ariz., and Stephen of Pekin; two sisters, Leona (and George) Cundy of South Kingston, R.I., and Rita Reid of Providence; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton. The Rev. Glenn Fontana will officiate. There will be no visitation. Ludwig Mortuary in Morton is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to her church.
