I did have that he was born June 21, 1869, but RB found May 15, 1869.

In 1920, Alonzo Bodine lived with his wife and 2 daughters in Fayette Township, Vigo County where he worked as a miner for the Pine Ridge Mine Company. In 1930, the family lived in Sugar Creek Township, Vigo County where Alonzo now engaged in farming. Ottillia (Kirchner) Bodine was the daughter of Joseph and Mary G. (Stauck) Kirchner.

Mrs. Ottilia Gertrude Bodine, 89, Seelyville, died at 4:10 p.m. Friday. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Cecilia Dolan, Seelyville, and Mrs. Margaret Maloney, Brownsburg, Ind.; two brothers, Fred Kirchner, Washington, Ind., and Ott Kirchner, Terre Haute, and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Moeller, Houston, Tex. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Patrick J. Ryan Funeral Home, with Requiem Mass following at 9 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church at Seelyville, with burial at St. Mary-of-the-Woods Village. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
