Married 20 years, 3 children born/1 living. [Note: The census taker wrote the exact birth dates in lieu of just the year. For Benjamin he recorded May 5, 1840 [sic], but the birth records for Warren County recorded 5 June 1850 in Oxford Township, son of Johnathan & Mary Fitts. Martha's birth record notes "Infant Bodine" born 21 March 1860 in Franklin Twp., to Margaret Bodine.]

Mrs. Martha Bodine Fitts, 79 years old, widow of Benjamin Fitts, died last night at Bridgeville, near Belvidere. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Willever Bodine, and was born at Asbury. She resided at her late home 23 years. Mrs. Fitts was a member of Buttzville Methodist Church and is survived by one son, B. Frank Fitts, of Washington; two grandchildren, Mrs. Ella Albertson, Mt. Bethel, Pa., and Mrs. Martha Schaumberger, who resided with her grandmother, and by four great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Addie Weller, of Washington. Funeral services will be held from her home on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Dr. W. J. Thrush, pastor of Second Presbyterian Church, Belvidere, officiating. Interment will be in Belvidere cemetery.
