Notes for: Willemintie (Minnie, Mintie) M. Vander Waal

In the Pella Blade of May 30, 1899, it was reported that a duaghter of Antone Van der Waal was seriously ill. That must refer to this Willemintie. She is again reported seriously ill in the June 6th edition and that there wasn't much hope for recovery. She had been ill for nearly three weeks.
