MILFORD, June 12---James Bodine, aged 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bodine, was in a rowboat that sank. Bodine swam to shore, etc. [If his father 1st married in 1928, then James may be the son of a 2nd marriage.]

DOVER - Mabel Ann Russum passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at home. Mrs. Russum was born Aug. 29, 1938 in Lewes, Del. to the late Joseph Campbell and Emma Davidson Campbell. She had worked for 10 years for General Foods before going to work as head housekeeper at the Budget Inn in Dover where she worked for 17 years retiring in 2002. Mrs. Russum enjoyed country western music and dancing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Wright. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Cain and her husband Cain; sons, James Bodine and his wife Leigh Ann, Larry Owens and his wife Joyce, and Donald Owens; 11 grandchildren, including, Allen Michael Dittman; twenty five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Seasons, Hospice, 220 Continental Drive, Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713 or Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-3900. 2nd marriage--about 1969--PHYLLIS MAY MOORE.
Phyllis is the daughter of Harry J. (1894-1974) and Eva May Honey (1907-1990). The obituary of Harry J. Moore in The News Journal (Wilmington, DE) of 9 Oct 1974 names among his survivors his daughter Phyllis Bodine of Dover.

Phyllis was first married to a West and had three children, all named as survivors of Virginia Bodine in her 1992 obituary: Phyllis West Cook (April 1955), Patricia West Russo (Sept 1959), and Donald West (Oct 1960).

November 30, 1944 - November 2, 2021. James "Jimmy" "Bo" William Bodine, 76, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021. A native of Wilmington, Delaware, he has lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life. He was a self-employed carpenter, a former CWI Wrestler and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Howard and Myrtle Walls Bodine; and brother, Gene Eglit. He is survived by three children, James Calvin (Leighann) Bodine of Dover, Delaware, Connie (William) Bodine Cane of Dover, Delaware, and Jimmy Ray "J.R." Bodine of LaFayette, GA.; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. There will be no services at his request. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
