Rebecca Sutherland Hurst, age 54, resident of New Castle, IN., and formerly of Winchester, IN., passed away Friday April 2, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born November 23, 1955 in Winchester, IN, a daughter of the late Ira Miller and Lucille Virginia Moore Sutherland. She was a graduate of Winchester High School and served two years with the Texas Army National Guard. She had worked many years for Anchor-Hocking Glassware Corporation in Winchester, IN. She enjoyed being a homemaker, and loved gardening, nature, and the outdoors. Spending time with family and friends was her favorite thing to do. She is survived by: one daughter, Amber Crescitelli (husband; Michael) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three grandchildren, Emily Crescitelli of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Anna Crescitelli of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Michaela Crescitelli of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three siblings, Johnny Sutherland of Anderson, IN, Brenda Woolf (husband; Jeff) of Winchester, IN, Jonie Simmons of Winchester, IN. Also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: Jerry D. Sutherland, Wilmer G. Moore, and one sister: Bonnie Watkins. Visitation will be at Macer-Hall Funeral Home 600 S. Main, New Castle, IN., on Tuesday April 6 from 10 - 11 a.m. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday April 6 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Slagle officiating.
