David Leslie Walton Sr., 62, of Gosport, passed away on October 4, 2017. He was born on June 24, 1955 in Oakland, CA to the late Donald Walton Sr. and Rheua Lee Harris. David was an avid Purdue and Colts fan. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend to many. He left his mark on a lot of people. Survivors include, loving wife of 41 years Anita Anne Walton; children, Shawnita (Robbie) Patrick, Dawnell (Tom) Black, and Dave (Samantha) Walton; grandchildren, Dustin Patrick and AJ Walton; and 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded by brothers, Daniel and Darrell Walton; grandson, Christopher Patrick. Visitation will be Tuesday October 10, 2017 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at G. H. Anita Carol (Bodine) Walton, 67, of Gosport Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 7, 2023 in Bloomington, Indiana. Anne is survived by loving companion Michael Wall, also of Gosport; son Dave Jr (Samantha) of Bargersville; sisters Sherry (John) Eden, Linda (Ronald) Coy of Indianapolis; Becky (Tim) Munger of Greenwood, stepdaughters Shawnita (Robbie) Patrick and Dawnell (Tom) Black, both of Indianapolis; 11 nieces and nephews, 3 grandchildren and 3 beloved dogs. She was preceded in death by husband Dave Sr; father and mother Robert and Elnetta Bodine and grandson Christopher Shawn. Anne was a proud business analyst at Anthem Blue Cross for nearly 40 years. She was a lover of animals and also loved the Indianapolis Colts and The Beatles. She enjoyed a quiet life fishing and tending her garden in her spare time. She also loved her family and adventures with her sisters. Her smile and laugh were contagious and she always lit up the room; she will be missed by many. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.
