Notes for: Charles Elbert Bodine

From Ronny Bodine:

Charles Bodine was living at home in April 1910 when recorded on the census of Meigs County, but left soon and settled in Fannin County, Texas in September 1910. The intervening months may have been spent living with his brother Jake in nearby Wolfe City. Charles contracted typhoid fever, subsequently pneumonia, and died at his home, 4 miles northwest of Leonard. The death certificate did not state his place of burial nor the name of the informant. However, as all the information was correct, to include the names of his parents and maiden name of his mother, it can be assumed the informant was his brother Jake. Charles Bodine never married.
