Douglas Bodine was born July 22, 1938 and died June 24, 2023. He was the son of Leo and Helen Bodine, grew up in Lindsay where he worked with his family on their citrus ranch. After attending Lindsay schools, he went on to St. Mary's College where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Doug married his high school sweetheart on June 24, 1961. After serving in the Air Force they settled in Lindsay where they raised their three children David, Nancy and Suzanne. He was a citrus farmer, owner of Coleman Pickles but was ultimately known as The Culligan Man. Lindsay was fortunate to have him serve in Jaycess, Boy Scouts, City Council, Mayor of Lindsay, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Chairman of Orange Blossom Festival and many other community groups. In 1990 the mountains called Doug and Barbara to move to Three Rivers. He immediately became active in Three Rivers Lions Club, High Sierra Jazz, St. Clair's Catholic Mission and the Ravel Club. Doug is survived by the love of his life Barbara, children David and wife Lupe, Nancy and husband Sepp, and Suzanne. Grandsons Nick, Jacob, Matt, Joaquin, and Ronin.
Visitation Information:
Visitation will take place Wednesday, 28, 2023 at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel from 4-6 p.m. Services will take place Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St Clair's Catholic Mission at 43590 Alta Acres Dr, Three Rivers, CA 93271. Private Burial will take place at Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery.

Note: Although he resided in Exeter, California at the time of his death, his death was reported by Evans-Carter Funeral Home in High Springs, Florida. It appears he was visiting there at the time of his death.
