Notes for: Adam C. Bodine

I did not have this son, but RB did.

From Ronny Bodine:

Adam C. Bodine, born June 1896, was living with his parents June 1900 in Coshocton County, Ohio. He was not living with them in April 1910, nor did he register for the World War 1 draft as he was required to do. As he cannot be located it appears he died prior to the 1910 census. Unless he is identical with Chester Otto Bodine, age 12 in April 1910, but who was not living with his parents in 1900. Chester is known, however, to have been born 31 Jan 1898. Further, Adam's birthdate of June 1896 conflicts with that of his sister Ethel who, in 1900 was reported born in May 1894, but in later records was born 7 June 1896, unless the birthdates for Adam and Ethel were transposed and Adam was actually born May 1894 and Ethel in June 1896. Had they been twins, both born June 1896, that detail surely would have been evident. Consequently, Adam's birthdate of May 1894 is used here in lieu of June 1896, despite the fact that it would indicate his next sibling, Nellie, born 30 Jan 1895 would have been born one month prematurely.
