WENCLE L. PRAXL, 66, of 522 Fremont Road, East Syracuse, died yesterday at his home after a short illness. Born in Minnesota, Mr. Praxl lived in East Syracuse 40 years. He was a machinist for the New York Central Railroad. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Beulah Bodine Praxl; a son, William Praxl; a daughter, Mrs. John Ballard of Liverpool; a brother, Edward Praxl; and six sisters, Mrs. John Boucher, Mrs. Joseph Weicher, Mrs. Cecelia Bartels, Mrs. Wallace Parker, Mrs. John Reitford all of Minnesota, and Mrs. Elmer Sahm of Clay. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Delaney & Greabell Funeral Home, 241 Kinne St., East Syracuse, and at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

Beulah Bodine Praxl, 100, of E. Syracuse, died Saturday at James Square Nursing Home. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband Wencle in 1966 and her son William. Survivors: one daughter, Barbara Ballard of Liverpool; daughter-in-law, Ann Praxl of E. Syracuse; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Services: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Forani & Cline Funeral Home, 206 Kinne Street, and 9 a.m. at St. Matthew's Church. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
