On 5 June 1917, Ervin Berdine registered for the World War I draft in Peoria, Peoria County. He reported he was born on Dec. 7, 1892 in Farmington, was single and working for Charles Rice in Timber, Illinois. In 1920, Erwin Berdine, age 28 and single, lived and worked in Timber, Peoria County. In 1930, Ervine Berdine, age 39 and single, lived with his uncle and aunt, Henry and Fannie Pelle, in Logan, Peoria County, engaged in farming. In 1942, Ervin Berdine registered for the World War II draft in Timber Township, Peoria County, Illinois. He reported he was born 7 Dec 1890 in Trivoli, Peoria County.
