Notes for: Olive Ordell Bodine

I think this must apply to this Olive O. Bodine. It comes from Jessica Armstrong:

I found this is the Historian's office: Olive Ordell Bodine, d Niles June 12 age abt 21. Auburn Daily Advertiser June 16, 1860.

Olive seems to be listed as a male in the 1850 Census Niles, Cayuga Co., NY. She is listed as a daughter in the 1855 Census of Niles.

From Ronny Bodine (Dec. 10, 2018):

On 2 July 1860, Aaron Brokaw petitioned the Surrogate Court of Cayuga County to report the death of Olive O. Bodine, of Niles, Cayuga County, on 12 June 1860 and submitted her will, dated 10 June 1860. Therein she names as heirs her brother Abram Bodine, sisters Jane Selover and Sally Ann Brokaw, and William E. Covert. Aaron Brokaw, her brother-in-law, is appointed executor. She signed the will as Olive Ordell Bodine. (Cayuga County Wills, N: 356-358)

Burials in Selover Cemetery, Niles, Cayuga County, New York.
