WALTON---Mrs. Bernice Bartow, 64, died August 1 in the Smith Nursing Home, Walton, after a long illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 4, in Lyon Brothers Chapel, the Rev. Edwin Hemple, United Methodist Church pastor officiating. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery, Walton. She was born June 4, 1907, in Walton, a daughter of Leslie and Viola (Gilbert) Budine, She was married March 30, 1925 to Frank Barrow. She resided at 121 Prospect Ave., Walton. She was a retired Victory Food Chain employee. She was a member of the Walton United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, Walton. Surviving are her husband Frank Barrow of Walton, one daughter Mrs. Beverly Meres of Walton, three sons, Clinton H. of Walton, Roger of Liberty and Donald of Endwell, one brother Guerdon Budine of Sidney Center, four sisters, Mrs. Daisy Schriber of South Edmeston; Miss Eunice Budine and Mrs. Vivian Brundege, both Schenectady, and Mrs. Francis McAdams of Walton. Friends may call at Lyon Brothers Chapel at their convenience. The family will be attending Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
