Ernest Berdine registsred for the World War II draft in 1942 in Warren Pa. He reported he was born 24 Nov 1894 in Tioga County, New York and that Mildred M. Berdine was his next of kin.

Mildred M. Berdine 73, of 420 Prospect st, widow of Ernest Berdine, died Saturday evening, May 31, 1975, at Warren General Hospital, after a brief illness. Born June 24,1901 in Mars, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Maybon and Estella Phillips. She lived in Warren most of her life. She was a graduate of Tidioute High School and the Warren General School of Nursing class of 1922. Since that time, she had been a registered nurse at Warren General Hospital. She was a member of the Warren General Hospital Alumni Associatio. Surviving are a son, Kenneth M. Berdine Frewsburg, N.Y.; two brothers, Harry Phillips Pittsburgh, and Homer Phillips, Clarendon; two grandchildren and a great grandso. Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m. A funeral service will be held there Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne B. Price, Grace Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
