Charles Richard Berdine, 46, of Six Mile rd., Tiona, died at his residence at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16,1977, after an extended illness. He was born in Warren on March 13,1931, and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a partner in Keystone Printing Co., attended the United Presbyterian Church of North Warren, and was a member of DPOE 223, Warren. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Frederick Berdine; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Rebecca) Mathews, Tiona, and Mrs. Randall (Christine) Swanson, Warren; six brothers, Ray G. Berdine, Robert C. Berdine, David D. Berdine, John P. Berdine, all of Warren, Jerry A. Berdine, San Diego, Cal., Dr. William H. Berdine, Lexington, Ky.; five sisters, Mrs. James (Virginia) Sturdevant, Mrs. Barbara Graham, both of Warren, Mrs. Donn (Mary Ellen) Repper, St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Julia Endress, Sacramento. Cal., Mrs. Stuart (Nancy) VVineriter, Atlanta Ga.; three grandchildren; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.T. Berdine of Warren and Nokomis, Fla. Friends may call at the Peterson-Blick-Funeral Home today from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held there Thursday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Nelson Beck, North Warren United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park. Members of BPOE, Warren Lodge 223, are to hold their service al 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Friends wishing to place memorials may do so through contributions to the Warren County Crippled Children Committee.
